The state of Hawaii is a group of islands in the Pacific ocean. Alaska is north of British Columbia. The US also owns places in the territories in the Carri bean and Pacific. The capital of the US is Washington D.C., also the government meets in Washington. The offices are called embassies, the US has a decorative government.
